Trial of Former Shenandoah Cops Trial Soon to Finish

Former officer Jason Hayes will be last witness to testify a day after his codefendants Matthew Nestor and William Moyer took the stand to deny conspiring to obstruct the investigation of 2008 beating death of an undocumented immigrant.

After Hayes’ testimony, the prosecution and each one of the defenders will address the jury with their final statements.

In a related story, the date for the sentencing on Derrick Donchak and Brandon Piekarsky has been changed to Feb. 23. That will occur at the US Courthouse in Wilkes-Barre.
